Strong to Serve Fine Arts Center - Phase 2

Give Now

Ten years ago, St. Croix Lutheran began the Strong to Serve building campaign. By God’s grace the first phase, the dormitory, was completed in 2015.

St. Croix Lutheran is now focused on building and upgrading fine arts spaces and entrance security.

This multi-faceted project includes new band and choir rooms, practice rooms, an aesthetically pleasing secured entrance, gathering space, a renovated art classroom, and an updated theater. This project will impact every student, staff, and visitor on campus.

SCLA is grateful that several donors stepped forward to create a $115,000 matching challenge for this project!

If making a year end gift is in your plan, please consider this opportunity.

St. Croix Lutheran Academy supporters currently take advantage of tax-related tools that aid in stewardship.  We are blessed to receive gifts for both the annual campaign and Strong to Serve directly from IRAs and Donor Advised Funds. To find out how to maximize your tax deductions, please consult your financial advisor.

IRA Required Minimum Distribution

If you're 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 from your individual retirement account directly to charity. The contribution counts towards your required minimum distribution and isn't included in your adjusted gross income. That could qualify you for tax breaks tied to your adjusted gross income and reduce or eliminate taxes on Social Security benefits.

Donor Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund is like a charitable investment account, for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations and ministries you care about. When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a donor-advised fund at a public charity, you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Then those funds can be invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend grants to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity.

Thank you for your consideration in partnering with us to help make our students Strong to Serve!
